I had two short-but-sweet forays with dear ol' Scotland, and I hope they weren't my last two, because it's a delightful place on the whole.
My introduction to Scotland came in 2010 whilst "bumming around" Europe for about five months. I took the train up through England, and debarked in Edinburgh - a city I immediately fell in love with. There, I reunited with a friend from Spain, and together we drove around the country for a couple of weeks.
My second visit was incredibly short but equally sweet, spending a few days in Glasgow as part of my Club Carlson Global Traveler adventure that took me to 8 countries in 3 weeks.
