I am taking a quick break from the Victorian Bush Fire Diary to report a few places you can read my articles which were published this month, along with a few interesting Shout Outs – including a few nominations for awards which you can help me out with! Please read on…
WISE BREAD
Lower Your Credit Card Interest Rate and Reduce Your Phone Bill, Immediately and Easily
Are your credit card interest rates getting to you? Are those monthly cell phone bills a pain in the wallet? How about cable TV? Internet? Even the power bill? Would you like to reduce these charges without the hassle of changing suppliers? Check it out, my frugal friend.
Master Your Life and Stop Self-Sabotage (Book Review)
You almost get that job promotion you yearn so badly for, but things fall through at the last minute. Every time your love life gets serious, the relationship blows apart. You would like to have a better paying job with more time off, but after years of trying unsuccessfully to get there, you figure your lot in life is just to work long hours for meager pay as a single parent. You want more, but don’t truly believe you deserve it.
We all sabotage ourselves on a regular basis, whether or not we are aware of it. This book shows you how to harness this knowledge and improve your life drastically as a result.
TRANSITIONS ABROAD
Laid Off? How to Make the Transition Abroad from a Career Tragedy
With current economics (I heard the term “global financial crisis” rolling off somebody’s tongue the other day like they were saying “ice cream”) not looking too bright, more and more people may soon face the golden handshake. But being laid off doesn’t have to be a career tragedy; read this article to turn it into an opportunity.
THE TORONTO STAR
As a result of the Victorian Bush Fires, I spent a sleepless night writing an article for The Toronto Star, one of Canada’s major newspapers. Most of the “feel good” stuff was cut out (boo!), I am still a proudly published writer in the Toronto Star.
