Here’s a Nomad Figuring Things Out!

This goes way beyond soul searching here…..Garrett Lisi is a nomad who surfs away his summers in Hawaii, and snowboards through winter in Nevada.
He also happens to have a doctorate, and has come up with the “Theory of Everything”, which is being taken quite seriously by the scientific community.
How about that….a nomad who seems to have things figured out on a universal scale. How’s that for insight!

I have a soft-spot in my heart for physicist nomads. Mostly because I identify with them (as a fellow physicist, and a wanna-be nomad)
The “sufer dude” in question actually did collaborate with others on his research – specifically, he worked with some bright folks at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Ontario Canada. Woohoo! Yet another reason I identify: I went to Waterloo!
